About Pneumatic Post
Before e-mail, offices sent messages by air through brass tubes, and the Bureau still has its system running. In Pneumatic Post a glowing glass capsule drops into a maze of copper and teal piping, bounces off twelve rows of pegs and lands in one of the slots at the bottom.
Each slot carries a multiplier. The centre slots are where most capsules end up and they hold the smallest values; the slots at the far edges are hard to reach and carry the largest. The risk setting decides how wide that spread is. On Low the values are close together and often below 1×, so you get back part of your stake; on High the middle drops lower and the edges climb higher.
One press sends one capsule. You can watch it bounce, but nothing you do after the press changes where it lands; every bounce is decided at random. It is a calm, hypnotic sort of game, best enjoyed slowly.
Like every game at the Bureau, Pneumatic Post is free to play and runs entirely in your browser. Results come from your browser's cryptographic random number generator, the paytable is published in the dossier, and a return below your stake is shown as what it is: part of the stake back, not a win. How games work.
Gaming Bureau is a free-to-play social casino for adults. Games are played for Stamps, which have no cash value. There is no real money and nothing to buy.
