Cookie policy
Gaming Bureau sets no cookies at all. It uses your browser's local and session storage for a handful of essential things, and for preferences only if you say yes.

01The short version
No advertising cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), storage that is strictly necessary for something you ask for — your age answer, your account, signing in — does not need consent. Preferences such as sound do, so we only keep them if you accept.

This is the complete list. Names begin with gbu. so you can find them in your browser's developer tools.

03Demo mode stores nothing
When you play as a visitor, your practice credits and results stay in the memory of the open tab and are never written to storage. Reloading the page starts again.
04Changing your choice
You can change your answer at any time with the button, also found at the foot of every page. Rejecting preferences deletes gbu.prefs straight away.
05Clearing storage yourself
Every browser lets you clear the data a site has stored. Doing so for gamingbureau.co.uk signs you out and permanently deletes any Bureau ID kept in that browser, so download your data from your desk first if you want a copy.
