About Stamp Scratch
Stamp Scratch is the Bureau's own card, printed with postage stamps, a red wax seal and gold foil. Scratch away the silver and you will find one of six symbols under each of the nine panels: a red wax seal, a stamp with a ship, a stamp with a mountain, a golden quill, a brass rubber stamp or a sealed envelope.
The rule is short. If three panels show the same symbol, the card pays that symbol's value from the paytable. If no symbol appears three times, the card is spent and you start another whenever you wish.
Each card's result is fixed the moment it is dealt; scratching simply reveals it, so the order in which you clear the panels makes no difference. That is part of the charm: a quiet minute with a card, no reels to watch and nothing to decide.
Like every game at the Bureau, Stamp Scratch is free to play and runs entirely in your browser. Results come from your browser's cryptographic random number generator, the paytable is published in the dossier, and a return below your stake is shown as what it is: part of the stake back, not a win.
