Play in proportion

Responsible gaming at the Bureau

Gaming Bureau is free and has no real money in it — but the rhythm of social casino games is the same as the real thing, and habits do not care about the currency. These tools and organisations are here for that reason.

01How we keep play in proportion

  • Every round starts with your press. There is no autoplay, no turbo and no quick-spin mode, and bonus spins also need a press each.
  • No near-miss tricks. Reels never slow down to tease a feature, and the Mailroom never shows the envelopes you did not open.
  • Nothing on a clock. Mailroom rewards rest after you collect them and come back on their own; there are no streaks, countdowns or "last chance" messages.
  • Returns are labelled honestly. If a round gives back less than you staked, we say so: "Back 40 of 100", never "You won 40".
  • Nothing to buy. There is no shop, and Stamps have no cash value.

02Tools on your desk

Play reminders — choose a note every 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes that tells you how long you have been playing and what you have staked and collected this session.

Take a break — pause your Bureau ID for 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or six months. You are signed out straight away and sign-in stays locked until the break ends; it cannot be shortened. Breaks apply in the browser where you set them.

Delete your account — remove your Bureau ID and all of its data from this device at any time.

03Signs it may be time to stop

  • You play for longer than you meant to, or find it hard to stop.
  • You feel restless or irritable when you are not playing.
  • Play is taking time from work, sleep, family or friends.
  • You are thinking about real-money gambling to "make up" for something, or to feel the same rush.
  • People close to you have mentioned it.

If any of these sound familiar, taking a break is a good first step — and talking to someone helps.

04Social casino and real-money gambling

Stamps cannot be cashed in, and results at Gaming Bureau say nothing about how anyone would do with real money. Playing or success at social casino games does not imply future success at real-money gambling. We do not advertise or link to gambling operators.
