About Blackjack Bureau
An emerald card table under a brass lamp, an ace and a jack fanned out, stacks of plain coloured chips with no numbers on them. Blackjack Bureau keeps things personal: one hand, you against the dealer.
The aim is the usual one. Get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards count their face value, picture cards count ten, and an ace counts one or eleven, whichever suits the hand. Hit to take a card, stand to keep what you have, double to take exactly one more card for twice the stake, or split a pair once into two hands.
The dealer follows fixed rules printed on the table: draw to 16 and stand on all 17s, including soft 17, a hand that counts an ace as eleven. The dealer never chooses. Cards come from a freshly shuffled random deal every round.
Like every game at the Bureau, Blackjack Bureau is free to play and runs entirely in your browser. Results come from your browser's cryptographic random number generator, the paytable is published in the dossier, and a return below your stake is shown as what it is: part of the stake back, not a win. How games work.
Gaming Bureau is a free-to-play social casino for adults. Games are played for Stamps, which have no cash value. There is no real money and nothing to buy.
